This page explains how to delete your Backgammon Circle account and what happens to your data. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
1. From the application
Open the More tab, then Settings, and tap “Delete my account”. Confirm: your account is deactivated immediately.
2. From the website
Sign in on backgammoncircle.com, open Settings, Account section, then “Delete my account”. Confirm: your account is deactivated immediately.
3. Without access to your account
If you can no longer sign in, write to privacy@backgammoncircle.com from your account's email address, stating your username. We delete the account and confirm it to you within one month. Proof of identity may be requested if in doubt.
4. What happens next
- Your account is deactivated immediately: it no longer appears in leaderboards, player search or public profiles, and all your sessions are closed.
- For 30 days, you can cancel the deletion by signing in again.
- After 30 days, the deletion is final.
5. Data deleted
Profile (username, email, photo, bio, country), games against bots, analyses, progress in courses and exercises, friends, preferences, notification tokens, usage counters and private messages.
6. Data kept

7. Subscriptions
Deleting the account ends your Premium or Maestro rights, without refund of the current period. A subscription purchased on Google Play or the App Store is billed by Google or Apple: also cancel it in your store's subscription settings to stop the charges.
