Mobile applications
The Backgammon Circle applications are distributed on the App Store (Apple Inc.) and Google Play (Google LLC). Purchases made in the applications are processed by those platforms.
Intellectual property
The whole Service (code, design, graphics, texts, courses, translations, logos, visual identity) is protected by copyright and trademark law. The word mark "Backgammon Circle" is registered with the French National Institute of Industrial Property under number 5232833, classes 9, 41 and 42. Any reproduction or use without written authorisation is prohibited.
The Service uses the free software GNU Backgammon (GPL v3 licence, run as an external program) and WildBG (MIT and Apache 2.0 licences), as well as open-source libraries whose licences are complied with. This product includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from maxmind.com.
AI-generated content
Teaching comments attributed to the fictional character "Maestro André", as well as translations of blog articles and of some interface and course content, are produced with the help of artificial intelligence. Game analyses are computed by game engines and provided for information.
Reporting content
Anyone may report content they consider unlawful at contact@backgammoncircle.com, giving the address of the content, the reason for the report and their contact details. This email address is Backgammon Circle's single point of contact under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services.
